  Went to Grace Church yesterday for the first time. There was nothing at all to critize. The people were kind, friendly and helpful befoe,during, and after the service. The seats were padded and comfortable, the air conditioning cool and just right. The sound system was perfect for band music,the singers,and for the speakers. The minister looked professional in his suit and delivered a wonderful sermon eloquently and
  with knowledge and passion. I usually. find something to disagree with in any sermon but I agreed with everything this preacher had to say,amazingly. He was self confident yet very humble. It was obvious that he loves people and is devoted to his congregation and devoted to the Lotd, acd committed to serving the Lord and to spreading the -Gospel of Jesus Chtist. He encouraged all to participate in doing the same.
  After the service, I asked a lady why the offering plate had not been passed around,like in every other church I be been to. I found out that the offering box was placed outside the sanctuary doors for everyone who wanted to
  give. This impressed me very much. I thought of several reasons this was a good idea.After I left the church I was turned around and couldn't find my car. The sun was hot and I was tired when a young man with two children asked for my car keys. He found my car,cooled it off ,and brought it to m@ his children and I waited. I was very grateful for this act of kindness. as I am 74 and disabled from accidents, back surgeries, and a stroke. I am going to call Grace Church "my church "

  I am home again. I thought a smaller church was what I needed, but as I traveled to Lubbock, Tex. & visited my brothers church, which had 4 services, the Lord showed me something. When I walked in to the church, the Lord said to me -"This is what you have been looking for". At first I said to myself- I don't think so. But after meeting the people, my eyes were open to what the Lord was telling me. Then when I visited Grace, the very minute I walked in, the Lord spoke to me and said-"This is what you have been looking for". I was in my place where he could minister to me.
